Teluk Intan Leaning Tower

The pride of Teluk Intan, is situated 84 km from Ipoh City. This pagoda- like structure is actually a clock tower, which still ticks and keeps time to this day. The leaning eight storey wooden tower is also called The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan because it resembles the famous Tower of Pisa in Italy. It was built by a Chinese contractor, Leong Choon Choong in 1885.. This dominating 25.5m tower was constructed to serve as a water tank.
